Basecamp is home to Alpacaly Ever After, a social enterprise that rescue and re-home alpacas and llamas. They offer activities with the alpacas most days which you can read all about including the prices at the link below.

If you’re not wanting to get up close and personal then the herd can be seen from the footpaths at Basecamp, we only ask that you not go onto the fields with them.

Yes dogs are allowed in the cafe (greenhouse seating section only) but we don’t allow them in the farm shop unfortunately unless as a service animal.

Our cafe is accessible for wheel chair users and those with mobility issues, we have plenty of parking with tarmac access to the cafe and disabled access toilet. Drop off and collection is possible a few meters from the entrance if need be also.
