Our Cafe & Farmshop

Fresh cakes, pies and pastries, a hearty breakfast and lunch menu as well as the finest selection of local meat from across the county all made and prepared by our in house experts!

Puddings, roulade, frangipane, meringue, brownies, flap jack, scones and much more! We also stock other local delights including amazing vegan cakes from Cumbrian Baker!

Our signature sandwich rolls and toastie bread are also locally made by the skilled bakers at The Lingholm Kitchen, just 10 miles from Basecamp North Lakes.

Grab your provisions from our Farmshop which stocks a wide variety of Cumbrian delights as well as gift products, greetings cards and prints from talented local artists!

 

Our Long Term Goals

Carbon reduction expanded via renewable energy solutions and building improvements.

Continue achieving compliance with building regulations and improve working conditions for staff through phased improvements to
existing structures.

Develop website to include click and collect options and local delivery.

Continue to forge relationships with local farms to further our butchery development in terms of welfare and sustainability

Expand our trade offering to small businesses within the county.

Expand our egg production and develop sustainable and commercially appealing packaging and marketing.

Special events offered on-site including local markets, community events.

Landscaping and planting ongoing to improve site aesthetic and environmental/community goals.

Small scale sustainable glamping accommodation offered to provide financial support to the existing businesses and impact projects.

On-site activities expanded to include: wild swimming, boating (water quality and wildlife conservation allowing) , well-being sessions and
walks, cooking and baking sessions, Craft/yoga/well-being sessions.

Facilitate Alpacaly Ever After to accommodate social enterprise activities on site by improving inclusive mobility access.

Community Produce Garden developed to include mycology, hydroponics and vertical growing in order to expand the
offering of fresh fruit and vegetables to the local area, and contribute towards our farm shop’s food mile goals.
