When In Rome – Sauvignon

250ml | APV: 13%

£3.95
Description
Sauvignon is a bit of a rebel – its name comes from the French word for wild after all – and back in the days when people drank wine only from single use bottles it was the first to have a screw cap. As grapes go, it’s very much a French immigrant and was probably introduced to Friuli Venezia Giulia, where more than three quarters of Italy’s Sauvignon vines are planted, during the time of the Austro-Hungarian Empire.
  • Fresh and crisp white with aromas of sweet yellow peppers, meadow flowers and fresh hay.
  • Lovingly produced by the Martincigh family that are lucky enough to call Azienda Agricola Grappolo d’Oro home.
  • This white tastes great with caprese salad, fish & grilled vegetables.
  • 100% Recyclable.
  • ABV: 13%
  • Drinking wine from a can produces x4 less CO₂ compared to single use glass bottles.
  • Perfect anytime, anywhere but best enjoyed chilled.
